Just an ordinary day

I am new to this business of blogging...so I'll have to make it short and sweet for today.   At the moment I am in the process of making a late lunch for my son, John.    Egg pastina, one of our favorites.   My Nana used to make this for us all the time when we were little.

 I am substituting acini de pepe for the pastina.   Small little round pasta, perfect for soups and stews.  Once it is al dente, you slowly stir in a beaten egg, let it set, it shouldn't take more than a minute or two.   Then drain, and add butter and salt to taste!

Now to think about supper!
